Re: Coaching Issue (I Hate to say it)

I think we should be discussing Gregg Williams not Al Saunders or Joe Gibbs!

We need a cover corner. His name is shawn springs. Our D has been exposed without him. Thats were we went wrong in the off season. Kenny Wright is awful. Walt Harris plays the position way better than wright or rumph. Both of those guys suck. FYI...just read in the post that springs tweaked his hamstring. I wonder if he will see the field this year.

Let's not forget Prioulou. He's also a big contributer that we lost on play 1.

He was the starter for the Rams until he tore his leg off in pre-season allowing Kurt Warner to come in. Up until that injury Green was the unquestioned starter in a potent offense.

Yeah, too bad Martz took him when he left us. I didn't realize at the time how good he was despite his last year with us. Of course at that time we had the Frerotte, Rosenfells, Green and I guess the end of the Shuler era. So much QB inconsistency back then (and now).

Well if you're right on this one then I think we are gonna be in for a long season; I don't see Springs coming back 100% healthy until late in the season.

I see Mr. Saunders interviewed on T.V. couple days ago. He seem very defensive with reporter (maybe he better defensive than offensive, eh?) and also like he talk to reporter in condescending way, too. I don't understand they pay this guy 2 million when Gibbs go 10-6 without him last year! I don't like the way Saunders act and he not getting it done.

I think it's safe to say that everyone is on edge at Redskins Park right now, and I'm sure there has been some sleep deprived nights from the coaches trying to get this figured out.

I wonder how much ball breaking D. Snyder is doing. Obviously, it is impossible to know what the reality is, but I think it is pretty clear that he doesn't put up with spectacular failure.

Also, look at the statements that hive been made by Brunell, Gibbs and Saunders -- especially Gibbs.

Gibbs has been very, very careful at how he talks about #8. Very careful. Brunell has been very, very defensive.

My spidey sense tells me that Gibbs real view of the QB play is different from the impression he has been creating.

yet we had to wade through 9 weeks of terrible QB play in 2004 before a benching.

Can you really see Snyder breaking Gibbs' balls, or anyone else on this staff??

I really don't see that happening at all.

It's very interesting watching all this unfold. I heard Gregg Williams didn't give any post game comments following the Dallas game, and here's a guy that loves to be interviewed.

If anyone is still worried about our coaching staff, I highly recommend this video posted by Torresa in another thread. Boy, it really makes me appreciate what we have now.

Downloading Video...TorresA...FTW...
