Man oh man! Anyone could have been a millionaire if they had bought the rights to that site. LOL.

"Why yes Mr. Jones, you can have your website back for 10 million dollars, oh and I want you to buy me Redskins season tickets for the next 10 years."

I'm not sure that I believe that.

It really is the truth, yesterday the Cowboys board was having a major discussion on it, and a couple people posted the WHOIS capture, which basically showed the expiration and the renewal after the fact. It now is renewed till 2020.

Thanks for that update. It just seemed too unlikely that they would fire Wade and have the web site go down for non-renewal on the same day. But I guess that is what happened.

Just another dumb move by JJ. No reason to fire Wade half way into season. Especially with a guy who is worse. But Im not complaining.

This is terrible news. I'll miss seeing Wade looking confused on the sideline and miss his effect in the standings.

As bad as we stunk it up last year and as much as Zorn probably deserved to get canned during the season, I'm glad Snyder showed the restraint that he did.

By permitting Vinny to humiliate him with the play calling duties change, a change many reasonably saw as a deliberate attempt to force Zorn to quit? Or were you joking?

I wasn't joking, he stayed hands off when he could have fired Zorn and Vinny if he wanted to. It was Vinny's circus and he let him run his shitshow right into the ground.

There is a big difference there! Skins handled it correctly. And gave JZ a chance to plan his next move. JJ handled this with no regard for Wade. Very Low Class Move. If I were a Cowboys fan, I would not feel any better today.

Sorry. I'm just not buying that there was anything exemplary about how the Zorn situation was handled last year--by Cerrato or Snyder--or that Jerry Jones has done something that reflects any sort of insenstive shooting from the hip. After last night's game, the sum total of talking head commentary I heard was that Jones had reached a point where he had no choice.

He has no choice because he can't/won't acknowledge that he is a part (to whatever extent) of the problem. Last year Snyder realized that he was a part of the problem, he stepped back, and let the individuals play out their hands. No it wasn't pretty, but it allowed for clarity of action. Here is a quote from JJ last night:

Quote:
"I think there are a lot of people here that certainly are going to suffer and suffer consequences," Jones said. "I'm talking within the team, players, coaches. They've got careers and this is certainly a setback. I know firsthand what it is to have high expectations. I think that unquestionably our expectations were thinking we were something we were not.

"I've got a lot of work to do, got a lot of decisions to make. And it's not just one, two, three or four. There are several decisions. I think everybody in this country would agree there's a lot wrong with this team that I've got to address, and certainly I'm the one to address them."
He's not stepping back, and this is not going to go well for them IMO.

I agree with you here and even Wade said that Dallas played like a poorly coached team. Not sure why anyone would feel sorry for any of these guys who get paid big money to get results. Don't get the results you still get paid but you do get fired.

Wade needed to go thats for sure but its the timing thats wrong. Again if I were a Cowboys fan I would feel my intelligence was being insulted. Firing Wade now does nothing but make things more confusing. JJ is not going to scare these guys into playing football.

As far as Zorns situation, I think it was handled as well as it could have been. Everyone knew he would be gone the following season but at least DS showed the restraint of not unleashing his ultimate authority at a time where he had not yet secured other options.

JJ just starts firing people but has no other real plans other than flexing his muscle because thats all he can do to "satisfy" his fan base.

Again I'm glad that this is going on in Dallas and in no way feel sorry for them but I do have to give credit to DS over JJ for the way he handled a similar situation.

Just my opinion. I respect yours as well. Lets enjoy the Cowgirls Circus.

I wish our return visit was this week with the disarray that is the Dallas Cowboys. My fear is that they will be playing much better ball late in the year with guys playing to save their jobs.
