I gotta give you credit SFFEDSKIN, you nailed Harbaugh. I'm not sure what he's doing that Singletary and Nolan couldn't do but it's really working. He's given than team a identity and that's something we're lacking in the worst way. I'm not sure who the next Harbaugh is but I really hope we find him.

I think it's quite telling that Grimm has been in the HC discussion for so long throughout the league and he has never gotten a shot. Guess he's just not that intriguing...

More to it, but not gonna get into that here.

Both good coaches, i would consider Fewell before Sherman or Shottenheimer. Roman would still be my first choice.

If you are one of the 'Fire Shanahan' proponents, what is your SPECIFIC plan to get this team back on the right path?

Who would you have picking personnel?
Who would you hire as head coach?
What offensive system would you want in place and who (OC) will run it?
What defensive system would you want in place and who (DC) will run it?
Who are your building block players for the systems you recommend?

Be detailed.
1. Someone that has a proven history at picking players in the draft. Not free agency but the draft.
2. Someone that can motivate the players and can X and O and make game day adjustments plus manage the clock. I'd look into getting Bill O'brien. He can coach offense and could bring out the best in RG3.
3. Run what RG does best..hurry up, fast paced offense where the field is spread out..like New England does. That's what he did best in college.
4. Go back to the 4-3. We don't have the front 7 to run the 3-4. It's been a total failure.
5. Offense..RG3, Cousins, Morris, Young, Williams, Garcon, Davis, Hank
Defense. Rak, Kerrigan, Riley, Carriker, K.Robinson, Jenkins

You want to go back to a 4-3 but named 4 LB unless you move Rak and Kerrigan to DE and then what to do with Carriker and Jenkins. We are locked into the 3-4 with our personnel.

If we changed coaches I like your idea of a hurry up, no huddle attack.

I believe both Rak and Kerrigan played DE in college.

Mike Shanahan will live out his 5 year contract. Snyder would be foolish to fire him now. He told Snyder from day 1 that the Redskins were a rebuilding project.

But why change gears in the middle of the rebuilding phase? Isn't continuity more important, just IF for the sake of continuity? If we shouldn't fire the HC, why fire the ST and DC who has direct oversight over their respective squads? Shouldn't they be also given 5 years to rebuild? Aren't things automatically going to get better with time? If MS brought those two coaches on in the first place, who in the hell thinks he can find someone better to replace them with if you have absolutely no talent or high draft pix to work with?

Just some questions.

Haslett was a bad hire from the beginning, Smith's ST always have some kind of issue. My main beef is with Haslett's lack of adjustments with or without injuries, talent, etc.
