LT and Gore are both great backs, but they are completely different. LT's game is based off of his ridiculous speed and cutting ability. Gore's game is based off of equally ridiculous power and ability to shake tackles. Gore doesn't have the speed to get to the outside edge and gone nearly instantaneously like LT but on the other hand LT doesn't have the lower body strength to run through tackles and push piles all game like Gore does. Both great backs with very different styles.

This guy has no grip on reality. Just drop it like I did.
Conversing with Rexi will give you a headache. |

Gore is the better runner between the tackles because with LT if you can a good handle on him (not an easy task because of his speed and quickness) then he usually goes down. With Gore even if you do get a handle on him you're job isn't done becuase you still have the difficult task of actually tackling the guy. Agreed that LT is better outside runner by a lot. Both catch the ball very well with LT being better.

Re: the forty niners
i like gore as a player, but the comparison to someone that just set the touchdown record? i know your a 49er homer, and thats cool, but come on. and besides, L.T. has been doing it for the last couple of seasons, and this is gores first real success in the big time. lets go a couple of seasons to try the comparison

Re: the forty niners
Gore's running ability is no mystery to anyone who watched Miami football neither is the fact that he's running on borrowed time with those surgically repaired knees. I give him at most 3 seasons, including this one before injuries take their toll. That gives the 49er's two years to make a run at the championship with Gore.

Re: the forty niners
Rexi. What do you think of A. Smith so far? I personally don't even know why he was drafted so high. I think he is 2nd or 3rd round talent. He's getting better but he's not a first pick, blue chip type of QB. IMO Jason Campbell has more raw ability and is going to be a better passer than Smith. What's your honest opinion on this?

Re: the forty niners
I don't agree with Gore being in the same class as LT, No one is. What really sets him apart, besides his awesome physical tools, is his vision. He has the special ability to find holes. Marcus Allen had it, LT has it.

Re: the forty niners
I remember 21 TD Terry very well. He had two awesome seasons for us and finished his career in mediocrity. I also remember Jamal Anderson, Ki-Jana Carter and Terrell Davis.
