No, going for the field goal on 4th down and too far to reasonably go for it is not a bad coaching decision, it's just a no brainer. You don't punt from the 33 YARD LINE!@#$!! IMO having a new kicker is a good reason to DO it.

Poor clock management is something like TO's wasted...I don't think you can expect a QB making his 3rd start to know the ins and outs of the game so well that he can run up to a line and call the offense there. I think they huddled after that first 1st down to call a series of plays, possibly saving time in the long run. When you play for the future, you risk sacrifcing the ability to run an efficent, effective 4 minute offense. We huddled like once when we shouldnt have, most of the drive was made in hurry up, and until the INT, I thought Campbell did it really well.

Spiking the ball at the goal line really had no effect on the game. I don't like the goalline fade, but honestly, I think Al has his hands tied with a passing attack that refuses to protect the QB and a QB who is too inexpierenced to know when he should hit his check down.

Abandoning the run was a poor coaching decision, but if you are running the ball with that much success and still can't complete 50%...that much isn't coaching.

We are playing for the future...live with it.

Starting over isn't the answer. We need to go back to the drawing board to figure out how to get this fixed, with this core of coaches and this core of players.

Will you agree that its time to get a quality GM to oversee free agency and the draft?

Ive had it. Gibbs should go, bring on Russ Grim.
Hhhhmmm....let me get this straight. It's Joe Gibbs' fault for the horrible play calls (which I believe our game plan was exactly what we should've been doing all along), clock management. etc.... even though Al Saunders is the play caller. Hhhmmmmm...but it's Joe Gibbs fault for hiring Al Saunders...and it's not Daniel Snyder's fault because he just signs the checks...but then again Daniel Snyder hired Joe Gibbs... you make absolutely no sense whatsoever. Yet you don't say a word about Gregg Williams...so the defense must not be to blame at all......

Yes, or at least stop giving away picks.

We've done fine in the draft, we just never have any picks.

We don't NEED a GM, but we do NEED to change the way we approach roster building. If getting a GM is the best way to do that, lets see it.

Dear Jackass,

Joe Gibbs wanted to bring in Al Saunders, not Dan Snyder. Joe Gibbs has total control of this team. It was Gibbs decision to bring in Brunell, trade a draft pick for Brunell, and to stand by Brunell. It was Gibbs decision to wait till now to bring in JC. It was Gibbs decision to give Williams the go ahead to get whomever he wanted aka Archuletta. It was Gibbs decision to do EVERYTHING because Dan has given him total control! JOE GIBBS is to blame for the state of the Redskins people!!!

All of this let's blame Al Saunders one week, Gregg Williams the next is absurd. This is Joe Gibbs' team, and like I said earlier I'm really starting to wonder if this team believes in the coaching staff anymore.

Hey, why don't you try to use some maturity when you post son. Nobody appreciates your attitude here and I certainly don't. It's obvious if you knew more about football you'd be coaching in the NFL instead of sitting in your little computer chair behind your little bitty computer throwing insults out at others.

Grow up!

Listen, "Son". Ive defended my position. As far as throwing insults, he took the tone with me, that's not even debatable. Ive defended the theme of this thread and I will continue to do so. Joe Gibbs has done a horrible job in Washington. Im not saying I know more than he does about football. If you take that philosophy then no one who has less than 3 Super Bowl victories could criticize the man. That's not life "son". Life is about taking responsibility for your decisions. All of the personnel, clock management, and play calling have ultimately been the decision of Joe Gibbs because he is the head coach. Again, defend the man on his modern day performance.

Yes, son, you certainly have defended your position...senseless name calling and all. Most of us feel it's a very weak defense, but whatever floats your boat.

The rest of us clear thinkers will discuss this and look at this from the big picture in a clear, mature manner. Hopefully without terms like "jackass" being thrown in people's faces...because after all there are still people here who try their best to post with netiquette.

Im so very sorry. The first individual was "mentally challenged" not retarded, that was inappropriate and Im sorry. The second individual had the intellect of a donkey. Again, my mistake. Go Hilary!

"Most of us feel it's a very weak defense, but whatever floats your boat."

Do a poll. This should be the question:

Who is the most responsible person for the current state of the Washington Redskins:

A. The Players
B. Dan Snyder
C. Joe Gibbs
D. Taylor Jacobs
