Re: McNabb excited about TE opportunities
I like Cooley a lot as a player. Off the field he's a great personality but Davis just seems like he has a nose for the end zone. Cooley has always been able to rack up receptions and yards but the endzone elludes him. He is consistent when he plays, a possession guy that QBs love to have as a safety blanket, I almost think JC would abandon his second and third reads and if the primary wasn't there he just started looking for Cooley sometimes. That's what a good possession TE gives you. Davis is a different player, he's faster, more dynamic, not an effective blocker but the zone scheme should help him in that regard. It's really a luxury to have these two guys, both talented but in very different ways.

Re: McNabb excited about TE opportunities
I think people are underrating Cooley just a bit. He's had down production the last two seasons, but he was getting about 6 TDs a season prior to that. That said, Davis is indeed the more athletic of the two.
