Re: What is wrong with Santana Moss?

I said this a while back and got ripped for saying it. Moss is not a number one wr IMO. He's a nice #2 and that's it. We are not getting the production out of the WR's that we should be getting. I would be careful of going out and paying big money to another FA WR. But Bryan Johnson would be interresting for the right price.

A while back someone started a thread about Santan Moss and Randy Moss. People were actually saying they would actually rather have Santana than Randy.

Re: What is wrong with Santana Moss?

I thought Lloyd should have made that catch. He's known for making difficult grabs look easy and we definitely needed him to do that in that spot yesterday.

The one to Cooley was also just off his fingertips, with Cooley I thought he misjudged that ball a bit and it appeared that he slowed up a bit initially when he was going after it.

Campbell's touch still needs fine tuning but I've always thought if a receiver gets his hands on it then he should make the catch most of the time. Santana letting that one off his hands go for an INT and then letting the other one get too close to him and bouncing off his grill were just pathetic.

Thank you. I think some of you Skins fans here are so jaded by years of terrible QB's and receivers that you forget that jumping/diving catches are pretty commonplace on teams that actually have decent personnel.

I'm definitely tired of people letting Brandon off the hook for dropping that pass. He could have caught that and done nothing else this year and I think most of us would go "you know, I forgive you for sucking so bad, Brandon"...

Re: What is wrong with Santana Moss?

I thought the refs were bad on both sides yesterday. Some really ticky tacky calls.

yeah, last thing we needed to add to the sloppy play was a whole bunch of BS from the Green Bay Packer refs

Re: What is wrong with Santana Moss?

cooley catches the ball because he knows he needs to in order to make a big play....the rest of the guys yesterday seemed to just be worried about dropping the ball.....if they were 100% with the success of the team...and not worrying bad about looking bad they would have made those catches without an extra thought....gotta wonder about santana TAKING HIMSELF OUT instead of coming back in and WINNING THE GAME THAT HE HAD PREVIOUSLY COST US

TO is a clown...and he drops a million passes, but he always comes back and makes up for it later in the game regardless of how many people are booing him and how many people hate him

Re: What is wrong with Santana Moss?

I don't have a problem with Moss not being in the game at the end. He didn't deserve to be in there, I was actually hoping it was the coaches that sat him down. His F ups cost us the game.

What is wrong with Santana Moss?

In his first year as a Skin, Moss had 9 touchdowns, and went to the probowl, he hasnt put upthose numbers in the last 2.5 seasons. I know injury is slowing him down, but he has 0 td's this year. We cant go far if we have no desegnated #1 reciever. I think Cooley is great, but a TE can't do the work all alone.

Re: What is wrong with Santana Moss?

Must be a bad groin pull to the point were it slows him down and makes him an average receiver. I think that he's toughing it out instead of resting, I'm sure if he was fully healthy that he would be like his old self.

Re: What is wrong with Santana Moss?

It is something that I have always wonder about.. Was it just a fluke or not? I mean, he shows lot of stuff and yet for some reason, he doesn't do it another half of times..

His hamstring has nothing to do with his hands.
