I agree. Low income people that do not have access to a pool when they are children usually end up being afraid or embarrassed (or both) to learn how to swim as adults. So they don't get around to learning.
We take it for granted.

Good point. Very true. However, I do find it hard to believe that someone who owned their own pool lived in a community where the people their kid invites to their party are all of low income. I just find this situation odd. I never new about Joe delaney. Sad story.
