Redskins best free agent move
I was just on redskins.com. The poll was about wich free agent would be the most productive.
To my suprise Antwaan Randle El has 56% of the vote and the next best is at 16.3% I thought Brandon Lloyd would of won that hands down. What do the hardcore Warpath Redskins fans think? |

Re: Redskins best free agent move
Adam Archuleta easily for me. he will have atleast 5 sacks this year and will be a monster just pressuring the qb and confusing the offenses

Re: Redskins best free agent move
I second Andre Carter. While I think Randle El and Lloyd will do wonders for the passing attack, Carter is going to put the defense "over the top." Carter has the most potential of our FA acquisitions, he's going to free up a lot of people to stay back in coverage, and he's extremely versatile (not that Randle El isn't).
If we don't end up with a top 3 defense, I'd be shocked. |

Re: Redskins best free agent move
carter. carter is the only clearly great player and he'll take our #1 spot.
lloyd and El are #2 and #3, and El is a PK return guy. arch is the #2 safety and has an obviously hole in his game (in coverage). |

Re: Redskins best free agent move
To be honest we have no clue what we are going to get from these guys. There are question marks surrounding all the players we have signed but if Carter gets motivated he might be the best addition. I also think Archuleta can be a monster near the line. With GW on his side I can see Archuleta getting 8 to 10 sacks and a number of FF. Having said all of that I go with Randle because of his versatility

Re: Redskins best free agent move
In the long run I think it will be either Arch or R El...they both have alot of improving to do...B Lloyd's best years are to come too.

Carter, because he can make an immediate impact rushing the passer. It remains to be seen whether Lloyd and Randle El will help our passing game.

Re: Redskins best free agent move
i voted for dockery because i really believe that cohesion on the offensive line is a major must for a championship caliber team

Re: Redskins best free agent move
I've pushed for a DE for 13 years!
Hopefully Carter can scare the life out of opposition QBs!

Re: Redskins best free agent move
I voted Carter. On an attacking D like we run he should be a huge factor even if he doesn't get 10+ sacks which I think he will do. He is going to demand double teams in pass protection which should open things up for Griff, Daniels and the blitzers. Griffin and Daniels are both decent pass rushers if not doubled which they have been the past two years(when Daniels played). If healthy this D-line should be hugely improved in rushing the passer.

Re: Redskins best free agent move
I take Dockery. I thought he had a solid year last year, and will get better. He's the youngest of the o-lineman and has the most upside potential. I think his signing alone will go along way in making this the most solid and cohesive unit on the team.
