Draft Day at FedEx field

Has anybody heard anything about opening up FedEx for Draft Day as they did last year? If so, anybody planning on going?

I took my wife and 3 sons down there, and we had a blast! My kids have been talking about for the last 2 months and keep asking me if I have heard anything. I guess I have have been assuming that they will.

That's a good point, it would be hard for me to get motivated to go with only 1 pick on day one. Unless they pick Jackson or Tapp or Stovall, I probably won't know much about who they take anyway. I think it would probably be cool to be around other Skins fans, I just don't see the point in going.

That said, I couldn't go if I wanted to, too busy in NO.

That is about the best part of it. Well, that and the beer is sold at a discounted price. Last year they had several events set up out on the field, which in itself is pretty cool to get out and walk around on the turf looking up at the stands. They have also sold gear.. jerseys of players no-more (Wife still wants a #56) at a steeply discounted price. Tour of the locker room... etc. For me, hanging with other fans, and getting hyped for the upcoming season!

I'm with you, why call it a Draft Day party, when we have no Draft. It is just an Open house at FED-X!
