New thread: First offensive series, first play, whats the call?

What do you guys think the first play will be?

This is just a crazy idea, but i wanna hear you guys' opinions and ideas. What if we came out with a shotgun formation, 4 WR set, with Moss, Lloyd, Patten, and Portis, with Cooley in the backfield, and Randle El as the QB!!!! Play action to Cooley, quick screen to Portis, he throws back to Randle El, with Cooley as a blocker, Randle El throws a pass to an open receiver, preferably Moss, and hopefully for a TD. Wouldnt that be crazy!!!! I love Brunell and everything, but wouldnt that just be the coolest thing you have ever seen??? Dont hate on the idea b/c thats all it is, just an idea. So lets hear some play callin.

***Have Fun With It***

I say it's gonna be a single back formation and Portis will take it up the right side for about 9, 10 yards. It's kinda basic but I think the play book will open up as the game progresses.

Yea I agree. I'll take a Portis run off tackle for at least 6 yards. Id be surprised if the first play is anything other than a run. god is the off season over yet, sheesh.

Starting at the 20. 3 WR set, cooley and portis lined up behind brunell. Motion with ARE half way across then back again this time with a direct snap to ARE, cooley blocking lays out smoot who is blitzign, lateral to portis who fakes a pass to cooley running down the right sideline. Then he laterals down to brunell that has been getting no attention, as he gets it he rolls out to the left but with amazing blocking by Thomas rolling all the way back knowing the pass is near and only needs a couple more seconds. Brunell tosses it up to Lloyd in single coverage as everyone is confused, Lloyd makes an amazing catch at their 45 but is being pressured so laterals off to Moss and he takes it down the sideline for the TD>

Edited b/c i can't count and I have been told this a couple times

all im saying is that its gonna be a Portis run, and if its a dream play hes going the distance. cue Cake. Gibbs is not gonna throw a pass on the first play of the season. I'll buy you a cookie as well BSB if Gibbs calls a pass play first.

i know you are just saying but I just got to thinking about memories when I saw that play. I was sitting here, right here in my room. I saw it and went crazy. I called up a few people to yell SUPER BOWL BABY SUPER BOWL. Then the rest of the season sucked .

4 WRs, cooley, portis, brunell +5 olinemen. yeah that is to much i forgot to take out one when i decided that I had to add cooley so he could beat the shit out of smoot. So lets take out patten.

But as you said, thats crazy, i say, no that is our starting line up.

It is good to be a redskin.
