Foxsports Wide Receiver/Tight End Rankings
http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/5785564
This thing is retarded...how could they put the redskins 13th...they are at least top 5 and look at the teams they put ahead of us, it's rediculous...and they don't even give good reasons

Re: Foxsports Wide Receiver/Tight End Rankings
lloyd and el aren't really proven and our QB isn't peyton manning. I disagree with it a bit too though. dallas, pittsburg, NE and SD are too high, KC might be (but its hard to argue based on the numbers). NE and pittsburg have no #2s right now yet both make the top 10? rookie WRs tend to suck (though randy moss and anquan boldin did well).

Why not? TO is top four - even if you can't stand him you can't name four better WR in the L. Glenn led the league in Yards per catch. Witten is a Top 5 TE. Can anyone else match that? KC probably yeah might be better, Indy probably, might be better, Seattle? not with those drops and without Jurivicious. But Dallas isn't out of the equation. Is Washington better than 13th? I think so but it hinges on EL and Lloyd. Cooley and Moss are top level up where mamma keeps the peanut butter, but I am not sold on EL and Lloyd. I think they are two #3 recievers.

Re: Foxsports Wide Receiver/Tight End Rankings
exactly what i was thinking, how can a 32 year old trouble maker, a scared to take a hit number 2 reciever an ALRIGHT tight end, with a qb that takes too long in the pocket with a line that possibly could be worse than the texans of last year and a running game thats non-existent.

Re: Foxsports Wide Receiver/Tight End Rankings
I'm sorry Dallas does not have the best receivers in the league. They just don't.
ESPN's rankings were more accurate in my opinion. Dallas at #5 I'll buy. #1? Please. |

People also said that Moss was only a #3 receiver.

Re: Foxsports Wide Receiver/Tight End Rankings
These rankings must be arranged in order from oldest to youngest. TO and TG combine for 64 years.
Terry "Where's Sean Taylor" Glenn led the league in yards per catch as well as dumps per pants.

I can't make the case for the Chargers, Chiefs, Steelers, Raiders, and Seattle being ahead of us.

Re: Foxsports Wide Receiver/Tight End Rankings
That is one of the worst ranking "lists" I have ever seen. It is ridiculous on so many fronts.

Re: Foxsports Wide Receiver/Tight End Rankings
This is one of the worst articles that I have ever seen. I think the Chinese are hacking our sights again.
Seattle second? KC 7th? (I didn't really see "ageless Eddie Kennison" did I?) San Diego 5th? New England 10th? Are they ranking running games? Let's get serious. I would rather have a probowl wide out than tight end. Seattle and New England have neither. Here is my top 10: 1. Indy - Marvin, Reggie, Stokely, Clark Their QB makes them "Simply the best" 2. Dallas - T.O., Glenn, Witten, Crayton is pretty strong (Glenn will come back to earth this year but T.O. will make up the difference). 3. Washington - Moss, Lloyd, Cooley, Randle-El. Probably the most balanced attack in football. 4. Arizona - Fitz, Boldin, Johnson, Pope. The first two are sickening. The last two make you vomit. 5. Carolina - All World Steve Smith, Meshawn, Colbert and Carter. 6. Rams - Touchdown Torry Holt, Bruce, Curtis. All three produce. 7. Cincy - Chad, Housh, & #8749942 (Henry). 8. Oakland - Why is everyone anti-Moss? He is the best in the game when healthy and luckily Porter was hit so hard by Taylor that he forgot to be afraid to go over the middle. 9. G-men - Burress, Shockey, Toomer - Not too bad. 10. Seahawks - Jackson, Burleson, Engram Stevens. Good on paper but let me know when all four will be healthy enough to start in the same game. |
