Cowboys end Spears tears cartilage in first workout

ESPN.com - NFL - Cowboys end Spears tears cartilage in first workout

I don't take any comfort in the injuries of others, even rivals. I am also glad that the injury doesn't appear to be serious.

That being said, anything that might keep an effective starter for an opponent rusty in, say, week 2 is worth noting.

I don't think this is a laughing matter, even if it's an injury to our rival. Hope he gets better soon, so they won't have any excuses when we kick their ass.

That's it. I can't take it anymore. It has to be said, because I guarantee over 50% of us here are thinking it, even some of us who claim to "hate to see injuries happen to anyone."

I'm glad he's hurt. As long as it's not career threatening or life threatening, then I'm fine with it. The more opponents hurt, the better. Am I a bad person for that? Jimmy cracked corn, and I don't care.

He's a Cowboy. I'm glad he's hurt.

Re: Cowboys end Spears tears cartilage in first workout

i don't like seeing season ending injuries in the offseason bUt if a player gets hurt week 7 and is out for the season i am one happy guy. Like schneed said if it isn't career threatning I am happy.

This is going to have him recover and be ready by the season but it will keep him off his game when the season starts. I am not going to be upset for him. This is a good thing for skin fans.

Agree with others, I mean weren't you all happy when Aikman went down? Yeah, my point exactly.
