Question about ESPN and Our Monday Night Game

Is ESPN going to switch the game to ESPN 2 or continue broadcasting the game if the game goes into overtime or something?

Well, judging from times when there's been a doubleheader and the first game goes into overtime, they usually switch it to the second game and give periodic updates about the first one.

I think it's the other way around. Our game will stay on ESPN and they will start Oakland on ESPN2. But that's just what i heard, not certain.

Actually you would probably want TAF's answer, he works for the machine he should know.

I don't remember what we decided on, but I'm pretty sure the Redskins game switches to ESPN2 if it goes past 10:15pm. I'm not directly involved with the NFL so I'm only part of the preliminary meetings regarding these type of scenarios. I'll ask in the morning.

Well I just asked the powers that be. Apparently the Redskins game will stay on ESPN through its finish, regardless of whether it goes past 10:15pm.

When exactly is kickoff? Is it right at 7pm, or will they have a 30 min pregame show or something?

i think they are having an hour pregam show that starts at 6.
