What are the logistics on Dallas not getting home field?

I have been looking at the tie breakers and so on....What do we want to see happen so that Dallas does not get a bye or maybe even win the NFC East? Anybody but Dallas! I think we can be a spoiler given our schedule? If the G-men win and win the rest will they punk Dallas? Of course the Bears already have 1st...

Wondering?....

I dunno, but I sure don't want to see Dallas go deep in the playoffs. The Saints must win 2 of their last three to guarantee the 2 seed. I would love to see the Boys bow out in round 1, or miss out on the playoffs entirely. I'm a hater. I hate even thinking about how obnoxious those Cowgirls fans are going to be...

I truly hope the Eagles win the division and are the only ones from our division to make it. Then lose in the first round. I hate the Cowboys and also the G-men. So here is hoping the eagles win and we knock the Giants out in week 17.

I don't really believe it will matter either way. If San Diego makes it into the Super Bowl, I just have a hard time believing any NFC team is going to beat them.

Now that the Skins are out of it, I'll be rooting hard for Marty and the Chargers. Say what you want about Schottenheimer, I feel bad for the guy, the man is due for a Lombardi trophy for crying out loud.

I have a feeling the Bengals will be representing the AFC

Re: What are the logistics on Dallas not getting home field?

If Philly wins next week in Big D, they could win the division, as they are 4-1 in the division, vs. Dallas' 2-3 record.

Dallas needs to win both and hope the Saints lose 1 of their last 2.

Re: What are the logistics on Dallas not getting home field?

i hate the cowboys, but i hate the giants and the eagles both twice as worse!
i used to hate the cowboys at the obsession level, but after seeing parcells crack on the media and hear some of the shit he says in press conferences,it mellowed me out a bit!i hate the giants, and in particular michael"mr ed"strahain, after he tried to intimidate a lady sportswriter the other day.
i think george bush 41 has a better chance of taking the space shuttle to the moon than dallas has of playing the nfl championship in dallas this year by the way!

Parcells' legacy with the Cowboys can be framed this way: Instead of joining Tom Landry, Jimmy Johnson and Barry Switzer as coaches who led them to championships, he leaves lumped with Chan Gailey and Dave Campo.

Re: What are the logistics on Dallas not getting home field?

Dallas has already clinched a playoff berth. If they don't win the division, then they'll be a wildcard.

I would also like to see the Eagles win the division. Not because I like them more than the Cowboys (I don't), but because I think they are less likely to go deep in the playoffs. I'd rather see the Cowboys fight as a wildcard, than to have a division title. Regardless, I don't want to see an NFC East Superbowl Champion, unless it's the Skins.

And just like in real life, the bandwagon starts rolling in full effect when the team is having a decent year. I walk around here and I STILL see my Skins hats and shirts, even after the shitty year we're having, but all of a sudden some Cowboy shirts and hats are popping out. This bandwagon shit makes me want to vomit. It goes for any team, but it seems like the Cowboys have the majority of them. Them and the Patriots.

While I won't accuse any opposing team fan I've met online of being a bandwagon fan, because if you're online posting comments then most likely you're a real die-hard, but I see these assholes walking around and I just want to ask them who their QB was before Troy Aikman.

My hatred for them runs so deep, I know almost as much about them as I do the Skins. Hell, if the Skins aren't playing, I watch their game to hopefully watch them lose.

Re: What are the logistics on Dallas not getting home field?

The Cowboys win the division with a win Monday, to win a first round bye they have to win both games and NO has to lose at least 1 of their remaining games.

The eagles can win it if the win both remaining games or win 1 and the cowboys lose both. the eagles clinch a playoff spot if they win monday night
