Portis is actually from Gainesville, Fl. Graduate of Gainesville High School. He was born in Laurel, Miss, but grew up in Gainesville. Spurrier wouldn't offer him a scholarship so he went to the U. Ooops. I reckon that was a bad decision by the ball coach.

speaking of Portis, we should put him on the trading block, I mean, come on now, even he know's he's days or numbered and we probably can get a 1st rounder or a pro bowl DE for him, with betts and the new kid, we will be just fine. even though I would miss portis
