Re: No clear prediction for Skins

Thats pretty true I think. I mean we could of won both the Packers and Giants games, and probably should of lost to both the Jets and Cardinals. 5-3 is a good record at midpoint and if we repeat that, the Skins should definitely get into the playoffs at 10-6 and even hopefully at 9-7.
I found my predictions from way early in the season here on the WP:
Dolphins W
@ Eagles L
Giants W
BYE
Lions W
@Packers W
Cardinals L
@Patriots L
@Jets W
Eagles W
@Cowboys L
@Buccaneers L
Bills W
Bears W
@Giants W
@Vikings L
Cowboys W

7 wins at home
3 wins on the road
10-6.

I had them at 5-3 at the midpoint missing the Cards and Eagles game. I have them finishing 5-3 as well.

I can't remember my predictions earlier in the season, can someone look up that thread and leave the link?

Sure. Would you like some milk and cookies as well?

Can't predict squat with this team. They look solid for a bit then look horrible. THey should go at least 8-8 worst case. 10-6 at best. Thing is we are going to split NFC East games probably at 3-3. Chicago is a probable win for sure, but Buffalo is going to be tough, as is Tampa. Anything goes with those two games. I don't see us beating the Gmen at NY, or the Cowboys. Minnesota in Minneapolis is going to be hard also with Peterson doing so well.

You can't predict much in today's NFL, particularily in the muddled NFC. But we have a winning record, a good in-conference record so far, and a team that is built to play in cold weather. For those reasons I still really like our chances going forward.

We still don't really know what team we have, IMO. Different things have happened from week to week. Hopefully, we're on the way up, but nothing has been established yet.

Step one: beat philly!

It would be nice if we started our run like the last time we made the playoffs. But this time we need to start playing right now instead of the last 5 weeks playing and barely making the playoffs. I see us going about 9 and 7.

Re: No clear prediction for Skins

I would like to think we could go 10 & 6 or better and get a wild card. The two road games in Dallas and Tampa are going to be rough. But if we can split them we will be on are way to a good second half of the season. On the other hand lets not get ahead of are selves we still need to handle are business this weekend with the Eagles.
Eagles W
@Cowboys L
@Buccaneers L
Bills W
Bears W
@Giants L
@Vikings W
Cowboys W

Re: No clear prediction for Skins

Am i the only one that thinks Tampa Bay isn't that good?? Unless we get unlucky like we have had the tendancy to do in the Buc's stadium, I see this as a win..
Look at their division...

Bucs 5-4
Panthers 4-4
Saints 4-4
Falcons 1-7

I'm more concerned with the Iggles this week...we've had W, W, L, W, L, W, L, W.. and if the pattern holds it would be a loss... it seems as if we're losing every other week.. time for some consistancy..

Re: No clear prediction for Skins

I can honestly see us finishing anywhere from 7-9 to 10-6. The division games are going to be huge as always.

Ideally, I think we need to start by sweeping the Eagles this weekend, and we need to split with the Giants and Cowboys to have any sort of real shot at the division.

In the other games against the Bucs, Vikes, Bills, and Bears, we can get away with 2-2 if my division scenario above plays out.

According to your ideal scenario, we'd have to go 3-1 vs. the division the rest of the way, putting us at 4-2 for the year. That would be great. That week 17 game vs. Dallas at FedEx could be MASSIVE. I think we can handle Tampa, even though it's in their house. @Minnesota could be tough, but we can handle Buff and Chi.

I think the more realistic scenario isn't that we're taking 2 outta three down the stretch from Dallas and New York. I see us finishing 3-3 in the division and winning 3 outta 4 from Bucs, Vikes, Bills, and Bears. 10-6, Wilcard.

I like the predictions...I am thinking we'll go 4-4 from here...but I can see 5-3.

I agree Chief Chucky with most of your assesment, but I have to differ about the Bears. They really are a bad team and the defense will start to crack by the time we play them. Buffalo also is a toss up, but we can knock them off. I think Minnesota in the Metrodome will be harder than the Bears and I would count that as a probable L, while the Bears a probable W, and Buffalo a total toss up. Peterson isn't going to have a bad day in the dome.
