I've been looking for an article like this for a while. To me this gets to the heart of the matter, I keep on hearing that Zorn is a good hire, but I don't really know why he's a good hire. I wsih they had articles like this for Fassel and Mooch. Oh well, looks like they'll have it up after the HC hire is made offical.

It actually seemed like a pretty good article to me. It gives comfort into believing that, for the most part, the Redskins already have the players set in place to make the transition into a WCO. I'm actually looking forward to seeing how it's all going to play out.

He raises one interesting possbility, utilizing Betts as a pass catching/pass protecting fullback. Betts and Portis on the field together might create matchup problems for opposing defenses in the passing game. I still see Sellers in this role, but getting Portis and Betts out there together might be a good change of pace at times.

Good artlicle, and I agree with the idea of having Portis and Betts out on the field together. This will create such mismatches and chaos on opposing D that Campbell should be able to pick apart the other team! HAIL SKINS!

not to keen on betts being in there to pass block for campbell. how easy is the WC offense to pick up? i know lloyd has experience with it in SF but cant think of anyone else of importance on our offense who has.

I think this is a positive sign...and while I will NOT defend the squirmy little midget and his racquetball buddy cerrato, I do think if we can get 15% more production from the offense we can go back to the playoffs. Jim Zorn is a great coach...I like the pick up.

this is what i expected to see last year, with portis coming back healthy and betts coming off his break out season. very disappointed that wasn't the case but hopefully the new staff will take greater advantage of the versatility of our offensive players.

The article was good until it says that Sellars isnt good for short yardage passes. That little dump pass to Sellars in the red zone was money two years ago.

Jason Campbell was in the west coast type offense in college Mountain.

Ok why,I mean the West cost O is not new.teams in the East have been dealing with it for years.Zorn is not some new offensive fenom that all of a sudden has a new version ,is he? 49's,Greenbay,Eagles and Dallas run a form of it...and a boat load of others run it also .

True, but the skins have not run the WCO. This is different to us.
