Should We Sign Plexico Burris.
Just wondering what every one thinks about Plexico next year possibly hiting the free agent market. I know he is a moron, but him and Moss would make up the best duo in the league.

Re: Should We Sign Plexico Burris.
Yeah, he shot himself in the leg. Not someone else. We wont get a chance to sign him, but after all the BS over the last five or so years about us needing a possesion reciever. If it were up to me, I am selling my soul and signing him.

Re: Should We Sign Plexico Burris.
Well, he would help the on-field product a lot, but lets see how this all plays out first. There's no reason to be dreaming of having a pass catcher who could spend the next three years in jail. Our situation isn't that dire.
Also, there's definately those rookie receivers we still have.

Re: Should We Sign Plexico Burris.
Sorry, forgot the obligatory joke response:
I don't have any idea who "Plexico Burris" is, but it can't hurt to give him a try on the practice squad. I mean, he can't be worse than the eight guys we already have on the practice squad! Eight players, and not a single pro bowl trip between them! <Insult about Justin Tryon for no good reason.>

$20 says Plaxico Burress on this team = What Brandon Lloyd was, except with gun charges. Next thing you know someone's gonna be saying to sign Michael Vick because we have such an inept starting QB. ![]()

Re: Should We Sign Plexico Burris.
What the Hell. He cant be worse than CJ or TO, and we were gonna give up the house for CJ. He wont go to jail, plus I dont think the Giants will let him go anyway. He is an elite reciever and just the kind of player our team desperately needs, on the field. I am sure that Dangelo Hall can teach him to act right.

Re: Should We Sign Plexico Burris.
Aaaaaaaaand here it is. I'm surprised it took this long for this thread to pop up.
An emphatic NO! 31 year old malcontent with shitty work ethic facing jail time, with a history of multiple domestic violence calls from his residence and repeated fines and violations of team rules. No thanks. Oh yeah, forgot to mention he was having a very down year this year, and has been injury prone lately. Maybe he's declining a bit on the field to go with his off-field downfall.

Re: Should We Sign Plexico Burris.
TO Killa:
Most think he will go to jail, especially because the Mayor's new policy on strict gun control. Plax will be a martyr. he will most definitely be cut as well. Also Plax skips meetings, practice and just makes a team look bad. CJ and TO both show up hard for practice at least. They do all team related activity. What TO and Plax share is they can be cancers, but TO atleast puts effort in the game. I wouldn't take either TO or Plax, but Plax is worst. I would take CJ without a doubt.

That guy is a plague to himself. Only Plaxico can help Plaxico. Until then, let him straighten himself out in a cell.
