third missed call by refs

Did anybody else see George Michael Sports tonight, with Joe Bugel, at 6:55 PM? George showed the last play of the game, and pointed out that there was definitely a helmet to helmet hit on Gardner. That was another missed penalty call. If that had been called, we would have been able to line up for the field goal try. I know it's all water under the bridge now, but I'm still too mad to forget it yet.

Initially, it was said by the commentators that an illegal hit on a reciever after the catch and 'run' was not garnered a in game penalty. He may be fined before weeks end.

One of the most blantant holding acts by Dallas was against Fred Smoot on the Terry Glenn TD. Dallas's offensive tackle pushed Smoot down with both hands on Smoots back. Of course the ref was standing right there in front of Anderson where it happened.

The refs sucked. I'm not gonna nitpick anything that we really had some control over, and could have stopped. However we had no control over those PI calls. If you stick any team in the league from Arizona to New England 1st and Goal on the 1, 90% of the time they will make it (Of course we didnt last night ). As soon as Dallas had it first and goal on the one I knew it was gonna be 7. If you put us 1st and Goal on the one on the missed PI against us, we proboly score. We had no control over that, those are the missed calls that make me the most angry.

but gardner also made illegal contact on the corner before the catch and smoot was trying to spin or something around the tackle which made him push him in the numbers

Nobody is mentioning the obvious horrible call they made when Portis was down, but got up and got the first down. It was so obvious that Brunell rushed to get the next play off so the refs couldn't discuss it, and Dallas couldn't challenge it. A very good heads-up play by Brunell taking advantage of the error. There were bad calls both ways, although many more went against us.
But you guys are right, the game is over, time to start looking at the Browns game.

Agreed, all this Tuesday-morning quarterbacking should stay on Tuesday.
