I could care less about bryant. But there is already a injury thread open.

That'll make it easier to for him to carry his team mates' pads...

Actually he attempted to carry Roy's pads, the sprain occurred on the side he was toting them on.

Upon hearing what happened Roy said, "Hey, I'm sorry I made him tote my pads, but I have enough issues carrying my own weight, much less extra."

More at 11.

Nothing like that taste of Humble Pie.

If he doesn't have the humility to respect veterans of his team than maybe he'll learn it the next 4-6 weeks watching on the sideline.

I hope that entire organization gets a healthy dose of humble pie...I am so sick of their arrogance and self-assurance that they'll be the first 'home' super-bowl team. Here's to them finishing under .500 and missing the playoffs altogether.

They aren't SB bound by any means, but still will give us problems in the near future. We still are inadequate in many areas depthwise at many positions, and talentwise in others as well.

I would hesitate to say they will only "give us problems in the near future". As much as I hate them, this team is stacked with pro bowl talent, top to bottom. And say what you want about Dez Bryant, the guy can play and with Romo throwing to him as well as Miles Austin and Jason Witten drawing the heavy coverage, he will be successful on that team.

The only thing going for us is that Romo has yet to prove that he can show up and be competitive in the playoffs. Also, it isn't super insightful to say that we have some deficiencies in depth and talent.

Re: Cowboys Bryant has high ankle sprain

I agree that the cowpokes are as talented a team in the league across the board. I think as skins fans we obviously tend to devalue their success in recent years simply cause they've only won one playoff game.

My fear is that they are at a point of maturity & will 'get it' and put it all together for a complete season.

I don't know why Lavar is talking so much smack about D. bryant when the dude merely refused to carry a teamates' pads & then sprains his ankle. Dez is a talented dude & his problems thus far are pretty minor when compared to guys that are already established pros.

This ankle sprain could screw up his whole year & he might not be able to get back in synch w/the O. ON the other hand, it could be a blessing for them since its so early. He's got plenty of time to recover & learn the system to get in the groove by late season.
