I'm FED UP with the NO CALLS!!!!!

2 interference calls on the same drive. The holding call that was missed that spun around one of the Skins Defensive Players (you could see the shirt stretch) and it allowed Ben to throw for the first down, but yet they make sure they call the personal foul on Taylor (granted it was deserved) on the same play. We get one interference call the whole first half. I am just plain sick and tired of the refs making the wrong calls or no calls. I wish there was someone I could write to complain about and it would make a difference. Unfortunately, this is the only place I can vent. Sorry everyone. I don't mind losing, I have gotten quite used to it. But I don't like losing to the poor officiating. IT HAS GOT TO STOP!!!!

seems like even when we got a PI call the refs were reluctant to call it

Unfortunately as Skins fans, we are going to have to deal with this phenomenon of the no-call or bad call. The Skins are not thought of as a good team amongst the NFL, consequently we are going to experience the opposite of the 'Jordan Rules', were in the NBA Jordan always got the call since he was the best player in the NBA at the time. Of course the lousy spot on third in short is enough to drive a Skins fan crazy...good thing I don't bet on the games or would be jumping off of my eighth floor balcony.

Only losinig teams complain about the officiating. There is a way to put an end to your frustration and pain - - and it has nothing to do with the referees.

the refs were actually good today, and they didn't take over the game... the steelers just flat out beat us. Not by a huge margin, but enough to get the point across.

No, I think today was a good day in officiating. I was watching the Texans/Titans game also, and they called a safety on Carr down on the 1yd line when he was atleast 2 yards deep into the endzone. They challenge it, every angle proves it, and they don't overturn it. That's bad officiating. Today we just lost.

but it does seem like the skins always get the "short end of the stick" when it comes to the officiating, this year more than any i can remember. i watched the game today with a steelers fan and he even noticed that the calls were lopsided

I really think they need to evaluate officals over the offseason. Being an NFL offical is only a part time job, so alot of these guys are working other things throughout the week. I think the NFL should pay these guys and have them work full time, in NFL Europe or somthing. Or require offical's to do some type of officiating in the offseason. League wide the officals suck! In addition, I'd like to see penalties be able to be challenged. Obviously w/ only two challenges(or three) you wouldnt challenge a penalty unless it makes a difference in the game. However I would like to see that added.

I think we notice bad officiating more because right now we're not good enough to over come those bad calls with good play.....the team as a whole...

They had some bullshit calls against Pitt too. Not as many as ours. I was at the game, and the unnecessary roughness one even the Pitt fans were mad about. They said damn, they're allowed to tackle.

Honestly, in the stands everyone complimented the skins D, but laughed at our WRs!
