Any ND fans on the board. I'm a ND fan, and not too happy about this. I really liked Willingham, and I would imagine he was "forced" into resigning, so I'm not thrilled about this.

Where do they go from here? Urban Myer from Utah seems like a good fit to me.

Yes, the story has changed since it first broke. Now that really pisses me off. Why didnt Willingham get the same amount of time the past two coaches have gotten?? It really dosent make sense to me. I think ND droped the ball on this one right here, even if they have Urben Meyer already commited or somthing, I think they dropped the ball.

That's crap, I really like Willingham, hopefully he'll get a shot in the NFL someday.

ND is a tough gig for anyone with the way they recruit.

ND is tough, you gotta do more with less RIGHT NOW... good luck to the next guy, but i doubt he'll be any better.

Willingham was in a hole to begin with because he wasn't even the guy they wanted. They wanted George O'Leary...who led the Golden Knights of Central Florida to an 0-11 record this season

That doesn't make sense. I spoke with Coach O'Leary just last week, and he said they had a winning season.

Of course, he also claimed to have a master's degree in education and to have played college football for three years, but that didn't turn out so good either.

I really liked Willingham. Some team will be lucky to pick him up.

Early rumors have him in line to go to either University of Washington or back to Stanford.
