Is anyone else just absolutely disgusted with DM5's play?
This guy just totally sucks. His accuracy is non existent and he can't hold on to the damn ball. Does anyone else say shit can this guy? I was almost a believer earlier in the season but now I'm convinced I was right when Danny boy signed him. Bad move. Hoping and praying for Cam Newton in the draft.

They didn't seem to think so with JC. They obviously thought the line was good enough that he should have had a better year. I feel like JC got a raw deal from the Skins. Should have stuck with him and bucked up the O line more. Not just one draft pick.

I am disgusted with the year in general. DM5 made a dumb move when he fumbled the ball last week but the whole team played like that. That play says a lot on the team and the coaches. So yeah I am disgusted with DM5 and the other 52 players and their coaching staff.

We're going to have these same threads no matter who's throwing the ball if the OL isn't fixed for the next 3-4 years. Weren't we screaming for JC to get canned and now DMac? Fix the OL, till then, even Tom Brady couldn't do anything.

Re: Is anyone else just absolutely disgusted with DM5's play?
Let's see... A ROOKIE LT, No Run Game at all and no true number 1 WR and you blame it all on 5??? Cmon man! You must not watch this team on a regular basis if your just blaming it all on DMc.. Yea he's played pretty Avg this season but who does he have to help him out? CC is amazing but he's not a huge threat to any D and Moss is getting older and older. No QB would be dominating with this group unless it's Brady or Manning IMO

We, the knowledgeable fans, knew what McNabb brought to the table.

The question we need to answer now is weather DM5 is a Kurt Warner or a Daunte Culpepper/Matt Hasselbeck. Obviously I'd hate to let Donovan go to another team and pull a B Lloyd on us especially since McNabb doesn't even come close to the amount of a luggage that a guy like Lloyd came with. However it would suck to hold onto him only to find out that he's done.

NO NO NO NO. Stop right there both Brady and Manning fold when they have real pressure coming from up the middle and on the edges. D.Mac has been shitted on his whole career for stuff he cant control. I want him as my team CAPTAIN and I hope he comes back next year. I just cant see a lot of your thinking here as a Skins fan. We asked for Cerrato to leave and Danny Boy to take his hands off the team. Danny Boy finally does it we still have a little rift raft left and everyone expects 10 years of neglect to be fixed in 7 to 10 months. The reason we are in this position is because D.Snyder thinks like us he is a fan. Now I am so hopeful to the future with this team the reason being is I think this dude has finally got it.

Re: Is anyone else just absolutely disgusted with DM5's play?
New team, new teammates, new offense...I'm cutting him some slack for those reasons. Not to mention the fact that we have Santana and co dropping balls on the ground or have them bounce of them for INTs.
Next year I expect him to be on fire.

Re: Is anyone else just absolutely disgusted with DM5's play?
McNabb has been pretty much what I expected, although refreshingly durable for some reason. That brittleness was the first thing that came to mind about McNabb and it's been more of a minor continuous issue. It does appear our starting QB is going to make 16 starts for the third year in a row, which is no small feat.
McNabb is an average player. He wasn't always an average player, but he is now. Next year, he'll likely still be average. He's worth about what his contract says he's worth. We have much bigger fish to fry in the offseason than McNabb, in part because we didn't use that pick we traded for him to solve those issues. The biggest difference from the Campbell era is that there's no outside hope (for me) that McNabb might somehow become the franchise in 2013. He is about as good as his level of play, which I hope is close to what we were expecting when we picked him up (perhaps with fewer INTs), because he's been healthier than we could have reasonable expected.

Re: Is anyone else just absolutely disgusted with DM5's play?
I've said it over and over again. While I have the utmost respect for DM and what he has done in his career, the bottom line is that Philly knew he was on his last legs and despite the fact that his last season was good in PHI, they knew he couldnt be counted on for the future.
Donovan is nearing the end as an elite QB, and i'm sure he can hang on for a few years and be a Mark Brunell type player (doing enough to win, veteran smarts, etc), but his elite days are over with and he would need all star players like he had in PHI to even resemble his former pro-bowl self. He doesnt have that here, and he won't. It isnt a knock on him or us, it's just our team is not like Philly. We are better off trying to keep McNabb for one more year, and drafting a QB to learn the system while we beef up the O-Line...
