Complaintsboard.com: Hilarious or just plain sad??

While bored at work yesterday, i stumbled across this site. Instinctively, i typed in Jiffy lube, just to see people's average experiences across the US.

Some of these responses range between downright sad, and hilarious. My opinion on most of these complaints, is that the customer, totally helpless when it comes to car care, is to blame for much of it, for not asking the right questions, and or taking the vehicle to jiffy lube, when a trusted service center would have been the clear course of action.

The hilarious is one of the responses from an (alleged) jiffy lube employee, who tried explaining themselves, saying that at only 7.00 an hour, they werent trained well enough, and exhorted the customer to still use jiffy lube, because the majority of experiences were good. They also apologized for forcing the extra services on the customer, as he put it "They said they would fire me if i didnt do it"....

I was gonna look, i swear i was. And I was like, nah i dont hate Wal Mart that much anymore, i've made peace...

And looking at this now, i guess i will never NOT hate them....War Solid Snake!!! HOOOAHHH

No really. Walmart is equally terrible at everything apparently.

Pretty damn sad when Wal-mart can't even get people that know enough to put right air pressure in tire. Had 4 tires put on my 06 Ford Freestar and the tire pressure monitor came on all four tires were about 3 pounds under.

Pretty damn sad that an american person is so dumb they dont even know how to check a tire anymore? What does drivers ed teach people now?? Anything at all?

Some of the people have it coming to them IMO, that went to the BK's. I was reading the complaints.

One guy said how he was having a horrible day and as a result, barked his order at the cashier, and then was shocked that she gave him a shitty attitude right back. He said she worked in the public and should be used to it. Then he said he wasnt surprised because she was a black teenage girl, implying that black people always have bad attitudes.

I'm telling you, i HATE racism like that, and if i had been there, i would have confronted the guy...

But still their horror stories are hilarious. One woman said she was going to sue because she won a scratch off ticket for an apple pie, and they were all out of apple pies!!!

Don't know if that is the one I was fascinated by, but if so it was a troll using multiple accounts and at one point he/she/it must have gotten confused by which logon was in use. Hilarious stuff

Dang your even buying tires there now. I guess you mad piece with WM when you realized you could save money shopping there. LOL

Actually they my have used the recomended tire preasure on the tire and not what is recomended on the door of the car. They can vary by 5 psi on some cars.

my buddy used to work at a jiffy lube, had absolutely no idea what he was doing. the first couple weeks he would come home covered in oil and burn marks on his arms/hands.

one time he told me he left a wrench in a guys engine b/c he couldnt get it out.

I have a wrench down in the engine compartment of my wifes car that I dropped and cannot get to without taking out the radiator. That is not an uncommon thing to happen. You just don't want to be behind the car if it some how bounces out.

I have one but it could not reach where I needed it to go. After I typed that I realized it was the wifes car we sold back a few months ago.
