Local Redskins sports news personality Lindsay Czarniak is headed to the bright lights of Bristol. Congratulations to her and hats off to her six years of service in the Washington area.

I wonder what capacity she will serve when she gets acclaimated at ESPN?

I don't know, but with few exceptions new hires initially start off with stints on ESPNNews. That will likely be her primary role. With some fill-in on SportsCenter, SportsNation. With her NASCAR background though, it could be that she'll get some exposure there.

Yeah he mostly does ESPNNews but has done the occasional SportsCenter. Sara Walsh is up here as well

damn first bob ryan now lindsay czarniak, nbc4 is slipping, once jim vance is gone it's all over. hopefully lindsay can bring some more washington sporting news to espn, we know they need it

Not a huge fan of ESPN but the women that they have pretty much destroy this girl. To me they're real reporters and not just tits and ass.

Start winning and Washington sports will be covered more. But if you want local DC sports follow the local DC media
