If they let him go, I'm going to start calling for Gibbs' head on a plate. Gibbs is in control of player personnel decisions and if he lets Smoot go after the Brunell-fiasco, I will renounce my loyalty to Gibbs.  JUst out of curiousity, do people now believe that having an extra $10 million of cap space (currently eaten up by dead space) would be nice? And the salary cap doesn't affect us?
