They gave the card a little hair gel and a badass attitude (which is shown via the black outline!)

Honestly, was this change needed? Will they benefit from this in any way? Seems sorta superficial to me.

All they need now is a big bushy afro, and Moss will be dying to be traded to the Cards. Adding the slogan "Straight cash, homey" to the logo would top it off quite nicely.

Reminds of when the Seahawks switched to a slightly-more-intimidating, sleeker bird logo a couple years back. Eages did it to their helmets recently, too.

It's a goofy looking bird either way but it looks worse as an angry goofy bird. What a dumb helmet design - a big cartoon cardinal. I guess the Cardinals is not a great name for a football team to begin with. Personally I would change the helmet entirely and put something to do with the state of Arizona on it - some play on their state flag perhaps - and change the uniforms with it. They have a cool state flag actually.

They are going to be changing the uniforms too.

Are there any actual Cardinals in Arizona? I guess it's no worse than Rams being in St. Louis.

Reminds me when MD changed the terrapin logo. I liked the older happy turtle logo better.

Its not exactly like Louisville because Louisville's logo shows the bird gritting its teeth and the teeth can be seen.

Its the same thing the Falcons did. The Birds dont want to be "too nice" so they just shape it a little different, but its alright.
