Kiper Grades The Draft: Skins get a C
The Redskins had a lot of picks but still ended up with an average draft. Cornerback Carlos Rogers fills a big need but taking quarterback Jason Campbell with their second first-round pick is a head-scratcher. Campbell is a very good player and a very solid pro prospect thanks to his extreme accuracy, but coach Joe Gibbs wants to win right now and Campbell doesn't help him do that. Linebacker Robert McCune has a lot of ability and Manuel White is an OK running back, but the rest of the picks are average at best.

Gibbs signed a five year contract. He still has time to win with Campbell and leave the team to Williams in good shape.

How does Kiper figure we had a lot of picks.
We had 5 total, and ended up trading down to get 6. Thats still one less than what we should have started with. I like Kiper, but that kinda ticks me off. |

If we could handoff to Williams in 5 years, that would be nice.
Problem is, I don't think we can wait that long before he gives another HC gig a shot.

Re: Kiper Grades The Draft: Skins get a C
i like kiper but he falls in love with certain players . if a team picks one of his "love guys" then he will say that team had a great or good draft , if a team does not pick one of his "love guys" he will say that team had a average or bad draft. i really don't know why everyone thinks the cowboys had a good draft, i don't think it was good at all. i think the chargers and the ravens had the best draft. i'm not just picking on dallas because i hate the ravens just as much.
