Giants Post Game Reactions
Seems worthy of a new thread.
Or maybe we should just say on to the Eagles game. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

At lot of sh$t went wrong, I just don't understand if we where running the ball so well previously why would you come in with a different game plan to throw when they can't stop the run consistently.

Well the Giants have stopped the run. They havent faced any good run teams in weeks one or two but that doesnt mean we were going to run all over them. Though it was the hope. They bottled us up pretty nicely. Plus their pass d was dead last, and we had wide open receivers all night long. |

Re: Giants Post Game Reactions
Can't understand the hate on Cousins. Yes i know he is a 4th year player, but this is his first and only season where he has began the year as the starter, gotten all the 1st team reps, etc.. If we are to be fair in his assesment, you have to at least give him one full season as being the starter, maybe even more, before moving on.
How many seasons did Jason Campbell get? 4 seasons? RG3 got three seasons. Cousins needs to at least get two seasons as starter under his belt before we can really judge him, IMO

I still think the QB that will bring the franchise back is not currently on the roster. |

Re: Giants Post Game Reactions
Last year's team would have folded after the 1st quarter and would not have scored 10 points. It was a short week and I kind of expected a let down but to me they never gave up. The key will be how they bounce back vs Philly.

Re: Giants Post Game Reactions
I am not panicking. I am also not going to let a 4th year QB who made bad decisions and was off all night on many throws off the hook. I didn't expect to win that game. I didn't have any problem with the play calling. As someone else said, the Giants stacked the box forcing Cousins to beat them, he could not.
Losing Hall was big too, as Breeland was exposed again by Beckham and the other receivers.

Re: Giants Post Game Reactions
Really!! This guy had time, guys wide open, simple pass plays. Most of his throws wasn't into a tight window, they was one on one throws. Guys picking up blitzes and this guy throwing off back foot or throwing into coverage. Hell, a few of his completions was save by good catches!!!

Eli was a turnover machine too. He had a great defense and some big time playmakers at wr. And a good oline. We have a better oline now, we have a better d now. Still not where they need to be to compensate for the int's. We also need djax back desperately. This is basically week three of who we are. Its only going to get better because of SM. Maybe KC will adapt and stick around, or maybe he wont but rest assured he is making us a team. |
