Around the AAF Week 2
Yes I believe this deserves a weekly thread..
For 2 reasons: 1. The league is actually legit and fun to watch (ratings were high week 1) B. It helps pass time for the NFL Offseason. ![]() The former Redskin lit it up last week. ![]() ![]() WEEK 2 Match ups above. You guys in with me on the AAF?

Re: Around the AAF Week 2
I'm with Orlando , always have been a Spurrier fan. But I do like the Iron uniforms.

Re: Around the AAF Week 2
So far all I got is hating Atlanta because Phil Simms son being the QB. Memphis would be closest to where I live, but with Mike Singletary coaching them they will lucky to win a game. Maybe I should put all the names in a hat and pick one.

Curious if it will be like going to a minor league baseball game where you get to pay minor league prices for beer and hot dogs.

I hope so, I will be testing this theory frequently on Sunday. Gotta help stimulate the local economy lol.

Re: Around the AAF Week 2
Love this thread! Funny y'all should mention picking teams...during one of the games last weekend my stepson asked what team was I pulling for...and I was clueless. Don't remember ever having this problem before...all the teams I root for were decided when I was really young. I never watched the USFL or XFL at all really. So I get sdskinsfan going with the local team, but for us who don't have one near, how you picking a team? Or are you? I did kind of dig the Iron uniforms also...as well as the name. As a Skins fan you could roll with the Hotshots because of Ross...any other Redskins playing with anyone?

It's kind of like when the Skins get knocked out of the playoff hunt (often) you get naturally drawn to a certain team. In previous years for me it's been Aaron Rodgers but this year for me it was Phillip Rivers.

Re: Around the AAF Week 2
Espn reports the AAF reached out to Tebow and Kaepernick. Tebow wasn't interested because of playing baseball, delusional Kaepernick wanted $20 mil to consider playing.
