Brunell's salary
according to Greg Easterbrook at nfl.com Mark Brunell isn't making as much as everyone though,
"In 2004, Mark Brunell signed a "seven-year, $34 million" contract with Washington; in 2005, it was quietly redone to a two-year, $10 million agreement." http://www.nfl.com/news/story/8978905 it's near the bottom. |

Re: Brunell's salary
Really? I knew he had restructured, but not to that extent.

Re: Brunell's salary
that cannot be right and if that is how the hell do we not know.
There is no possible way. All those Wash. Post articles about his restructure, there is absolutly no way. I wish i knew if it was true so i would know how to react. No possible way |

Re: Brunell's salary
I think 2 years is all we need out of Brunell anyways. I'm sure everyone will be anxious to see Jason Campbell perform.

Re: Brunell's salary
i looked around i can't find anything but this that supports that. someone that is actually good at finding stuff look for something but i have never heard of this. I haven't heard of this reporter and it is such a minor part in his column that it would have to be common knowledge to be such a insignificant part. THis guy is blowing smoke up our asses but if it is true i am sure someone can find something. Props to duffman for finding this one

Re: Brunell's salary
Campell looked good in game and looked mediocre in another. I hope Campbell works out with the Skins because I can't think of a QB that the Redskins DRAFTED that performed to his expectations.

Re: Brunell's salary
hey gus is playing well for miami.
i never thought i would say this after last season, but if brunell is still playing well at the end of the year, we bring him back. you dont give up a good thing. brunell is a brightspot for our team. hes been the most consistent player on the team. |

Re: Brunell's salary
that would be great. he gets decent cash and we get some much needed salary cap help.and yes would could get a good lineman or 2. it would definetly make thins much more interesting next off season.i wanted us to pick up fonoti from the chargers. and we didn't. he was had for a conditional 6th or 7th pick. and i believe he's better than dockery. but , then again i'm not the coach so i guess i will just have to get over it.

Re: Brunell's salary
Ummm no that isn't right. It's not like these contracts are kept secret. They have to be somewhat public giving the cap. It's not like they come out and explain every detail but if a reporter asks then they'll give them the numbers. This guy must be either mistaken or out of his mind.
