Some questions from Germany

Ho Guys, even though I´m a Skins "supporter" for about 15 years now (well, mostly because football was "new and cool" and most people in my school choose the Cowboys... and I never liked the things all the other like ) I wasn´t really hardcore interested in Football until April of this year. After beginning to play that game myself (well, actually Flagfootball, but thinking about changing to tackle) i´ve got some questions to which I didn´t find informations in the web until now:

1.) Where is the ball set down after a play? At the point where the player is brought down or the point where he has advanced most. For example, Mr. Portis runs to the 10 yard line and is pushed back to the 15... where will the ball be placed?

2.) If a player intercepts a ball in the endzone and is brought down there, it´s a Touchback, that´s what I know. If he runs out and is pushed back in and tackled... Touchback or Safety?

3.) About drafts... I know the theory about who drafts first and so on. But... who is drafted? Only players who are finished with college or is it possible to get a good player who still has one or two college years to do?

4.) Personal interest... any soccer fans here?
