The plays that Vick and Young can make with their legs are flat out astounding. What both of them have yet to prove is that they can throw the ball with some degree of consistency. I really believe that Vince Young will grow as a passer in a manner that Michael Vick never did. He threw consistently in college better than Vick ever did and he seems to understand the game better.
It's just tough this year to look at his stats, look at Pennington's stats and try to say that Young deserved a shot before Pennington did.
