My Dad being a bills fan, I took him to the bills vs titans game on xmas eve. Right before half time the titans had the ball at like the 50 and it looked like they would just throw up a hail mary pass. Instead young took the snap, rolled out to one sideline, cut clear across the field to the other sideline, and waltz into the endzone. It looked as effortless as his TD runs in the national championship game against USC. It's tough to say he deserves to be in over pennington cuz pennington actually got his team to the playoffs but you cant discredit vince young for what he did this year. He's flat out amazing.

The plays that Vick and Young can make with their legs are flat out astounding. What both of them have yet to prove is that they can throw the ball with some degree of consistency. I really believe that Vince Young will grow as a passer in a manner that Michael Vick never did. He threw consistently in college better than Vick ever did and he seems to understand the game better.

It's just tough this year to look at his stats, look at Pennington's stats and try to say that Young deserved a shot before Pennington did.
