John Clayton, of ESPN.com, reports the Atlanta Falcons have contacted free agent RB Michael Turner (Chargers). The Falcons are trying to get Turner to visit Friday, Feb. 29.

turning smith into an olb isn't the greatest idea i've ever heard. turner is just what the falcons need. a guy that can break tackles and make plays... with norwood as the #2, this might mean mcfadden ain't the guy the falcons want, which is good, cause long, long, ellis, or possibly ryan could probably make a bigger impact for them.
