So was it the OC that whole time or Gruden? it's easy to be a good coach when you got a stacked team, which is exactly what Gruden worked with in both locations. Also, who picked those players? We know good and damn well Al made the selections in Oakland and he inherited a stacked team in Tampa. We all saw what happened when McKay left for Atlanta and Chucky and Bruce were making the personnel calls. That said, he's NOT the answer here. Not even close by a long shot. Also to note, Gruden has never been a QB coach during his coaching career. (unless I've overlooked something) He was mostly a WR coach early on.
