Re: Do You Unequivocally Believe RG3 Is Our Franchise QB?
Pre-injury, unequivocally yes. Post injury hard to say, I don't think he has the speed that he had last year, and it is obvious that he cannot just blow past defenders running anymore. If the lose of speed is temporary then he is probably the most dynamic player in football, just like his rookie season. I think he has the talent and potential to be one of the best Redskins QBs of all time, but it is still early. Hopefully, the Shananingans crew has not permanently ruined his leg/knee/speed and he can get back to where he was physically. Ultimately he'll have to improve as a 'pocket passer' to be 'The Guy'.

He's only missed 2 games, one was this one and one was when he had the quad injury against Oakland. I think he plays through injuries pretty well. I think he shows up on the injury list often, but usually they seem to be ones he can play through. Reminds me of Gronk; always questionable, but always ends up playing.
Plus its a concussion, the NFL won't let you play through that if you don't pass the tests for liability reasons.

Re: Do You Unequivocally Believe RG3 Is Our Franchise QB?
If only we had Seattle's Receivers. Doug Baldwin, Jermaine Kearse, whoever their Tight End is... all first ballot hall of famers. No fair that Russell Wilson has so much to work with. The sick WR talent makes all his passes look like they're thrown accurately and on time. It's almost as if he can anticipate what the Defense is going to do before the ball is snapped. Amazing what superior weapons can do for a young QB.

And even when Wilson has a bad day and his offensive only puts up 14 points the Seahawks find a way to win. Maybe its because they actually have a defense. Imagine a day when the Redskins can win a game only scoring 14 points. Irrelevant though because I actually think Wilson is the best young QB in the league. Foles is catching up though. |

Luck has been pretty bad the past couple of games and the colts have been getting blown out besides yesterday's game against the titans in which luck looked like an average QB, which is better than what he looked like previously. Right now foles is playing at a higher level than luck. |

Re: Do You Unequivocally Believe RG3 Is Our Franchise QB?
I just hope RG3 listens to all the experts talk about Wilson after this game. They all took Jabs at him RG3, in his defense he couldn't do all the things to become a more complete QB this offseason due to rehab. I know he has the work ethic and drive to become better, just needs to make it through the season without injury.

Re: Do You Unequivocally Believe RG3 Is Our Franchise QB?
That performance by Wilson was nuts. I figured he might be good when he won that job. I never thought he'd be this good. I mean ever, not just this soon. He's a legitimate MVP candidate pending the rest of the season.
Foles is playing a very different game than all the other young QBs. What he's doing for Philly is pretty f-ing impressive. But it makes comparisons to other QBs difficult at best because he's not doing what everyone else is. Most impressive thing Foles has done is completely changed Chip Kelly's opinion of him. I know a lot of football coaches, and that's basically impossible once someone has an evaluation of you. Griffin is younger than everyone we're talking about, and he's further along than he's getting credit for in the media right now. He's not as far along as I had hoped or thought he would be, but the offense has been a limiting factor on his development. He's lacking some basic nuance that isn't difficult to master in terms of timing and pocket movement. A good QB coach could get that fixed in a couple of weeks. Given that he's a full year or two younger than all the other great "young" quarterbacks, his upside is still the one you should bet on. He's just behind Wilson and Foles.
