What is your percentage chance that Griffin is on the team at 6pm Saturday?

I think 25% he is on the team tomorrow night, and less then 10% that he is on the roster opening day.

It's all your fault...

So to recap the cuts so far...

Sage Harold, OLB
Reggie Bell, WR
Colin Lockett, WR
Mack Brown, RB
DJ Williams, TE
Austin Reiter, C
Akeem Davis, S
Takoby Cofield, OT
Tyler Larsen, OL
Terrance Plummer, ILB
Houston Bates, OLB
Trey Williams, RB
Je'Ron Hamm, TE
Quinton Dunbar, CB
Everything pretty standard so far. Wonder if the release of Plummer, Bates & Hamm opens up roster spots for Ross + Spencer (7 receivers).

And Dunbar too. And Plummer. Wonder about Cofield as well.

Re: 53-man Roster Predictions

So 3 of our draft picks aren't on the roster??? Surprised we didn't put Mitchel on IR after his injury. Colts are better than us and they snapped him up. Must have skills. Would like to know how those decisions are made on injured guys. Would be good knowledge to know.

Hopefully Spencer is at least put on practice squad. He seems like an old school Redskins. type guy.

Jared Goff out of Cal, the next A. Rodgers.

Goff seems a little too tiny to me, like RGIII, I don't know how many NFL hits he can take.

Dude's barely over 200lbs. He needs to throw on about 20lbs of muscle. Then we can talk.

I agree he needs to gain some weight, he is a junior but I can guarantee he will be in next years draft. How big was Joe Montana?

He's very good in the Red Zone. Big target with good hands.

Mitchel is on IR. Just not here:

Ditto, would love an education on the implications of placing a player on IR.

7 TD's on his rookie season, his blocking is getting better. At 6'7" 267 lbs, I would imagine he could become a decent blocker if Wes Phillips works with him.

For players in their first few years, they cant be placed on IR until the first cut down date. When Mitchell was injured, we had a bunch of CB's already out. They had the option of practicing with hardly any CB's or waiving him and using his roster spot to sign another player. If they are waived, they have to clear waivers before he can be placed on IR. They took a chance and it didnt work out. Had we not had so many injuries to that position at the time, I figure they would have held onto him and then put him on IR when they could.
