Watching this Giants game, another observation...this new Giants stadium just doesn't have the life the meadowlands had. It's quiet...and not a lot of energy. And whenever the camera pans to the crowd it's just filled with the ugliest fans in the league. It's a troll fest drinking the shitest beers in the country. It's Like a monument to a pile of shit.

Watching cincy and Giants...how in the fuck did we lose to cincy? These guys are fairly terrible.
I have to agree..the biggest mistake I see is not holding a lead however the NFL is so even that can be hard to do..just about every team can win or lose a game with a couple of plays..the difference between 6-10 and 10-6 could be only a few missed FG's or a couple turnovers. I hate to say this but Dallas looks like the best team in the league..with a rookie QB and RB ! I keep waiting for them to stumble and make mistakes.. We are playing for Wildcard which may not be so bad.

Yup. Was wondering about him during Detroit week. I think it is probably a pretty common name for Detroit fans though,....

Well, to be fair we didn't ^^

I also think the Giants are far from being a bad team, beating them on the road was a pretty good accomplishment.

Re: Skins-Vikings post game

The Giants have their strengths. The short passing game and a solid pass rush. However, they are much further from being a complete team than us and the Cowboys.

The loss to Dallas and the non-win against Cinci will likely really come back to haunt us. Change those outcomes and we are playing for the division lead on Thanksgiving.

I am going out on a limb and saying I think we hit another win streak over the next five games. At the end of the year, we still end up in 2nd because, as much as I hate to admit it, I just don't know where the Cowboys lose three games. They have us, the Ravens, Detroit & T. Bay at home and Minnesota, Giants and Eagles away.

I say we beat them, that's one. I suspect they will lose to two others on the list - just cause. However, we would need to run the table and have them go 4-3 to close out the season to win the division. Just don't see those two things happening. We are going to lose at least one more game, probably two. Depending on how things break down, I think we make the play-offs, but the Cowboys (blecchh) take the division & probably the number one seed.

Oh, and I hate that I was soooo wrong about Elliot.

I hate:
I was wrong about Elliot
Philly spends multiple picks on Wentz, gets them back and Wentz plays good (I hope he flubs long term)
Dallas uses a 4th round pick and appears to have a long term starter
KC's pick in the redzone in the first game
NYG spends lavishly in FA and at least sees production from several starters.
Hopkins miss
That I have to root for Baltimore this weekend.

that, even I think we have a very potent offense and defense, we still may be 3rd in the division, because our coach lacks, imo, the go for the throat mentality.

But here's looking at a path to the SB that includes defeating NYG, Seattle, Dallas!!

Also, Im not advocating for joe gibbs conservative, but you go up 2 scores...you start grinding and controlling that line of scrimmage and keep that defense on the sideline. Because when you start aggressively throwing...man, the turnover probability goes way up and you stop the clock. Folks I like Cousins...he is not Aaron Rogers, tom Brady, etc.

The Vikings did the predictable...they went hurry up and more aggressive playcalling. So the defense feels more pressure, get worn out, and gives up scores.

That second quarter was a momentum killer and effective allowed the Vikings to win the first half of that game.

Fat Rob showed his worth in the second half...and first quarter. Don't get away from running the ball, we are a much much better team and offense.
I don't know man. If they go run, run, pass and it's still a three and out, there would be just as many Monday morning QBs saying they went too conservative. My guess is they thought the Vikings would be expecting the run so they didn't...maybe they were overthinking it...who knows. All I'm saying is I appreciate aggressive, and I think we need more of that...at least show the willingness to be aggressive like that so teams can't sit on one thing.

Re: Skins-Vikings post game

The old days of salting a game away are over with. A 14-0 lead might as well be 3-0 especially when it's so early in the game. The Vikings caught some breaks and got back into it, that's how shit goes. It's not like we're the 85 Bears who should be blowing teams out.
