Re: Week 1 Loss - Post Thoughts Here

Positives:
-Norman's acting career. Getting a holding call on that goal line stance in the 4th (maybe 3rd?) shows his Dancing with the Stars performance was no fluke
-Vegas point spread. A lot of people, not just here in fandom, were making a big deal about hte size of the spread. Redskins showed the nation it was exactly where it should be.
-Cooley taking subtle digs at Alex Smith. When the game was 32-20 and there was basically two minutes left Cooley commented on how people were making a big deal about Keenum's interception stats but said he will at least lose trying to win the game throwing down the field and we will not see a bunch of check downs. That comment made me chuckle.

Negatives:
-Defensive line depth. Thought this was suppossed to be a strength. Allen goes out and the entire D fell apart. That has me a bit concerned.

Watching the game it made me think of it like this...Alex Smith was a terrible fit in Jay Offense. Case seems like a better fit and he played better today than Alex every played with us. Again, the Alex trade was a knee jerk Bruce move which gave no consideration of can he work in Jays offense. When he struggled folks said Alex needs more time....damn, does Case need more time? This is just more evidence of mismanagement by Bruce, fit in scheme is fucking important!

That’s what I said lat year, should have signed Keenum who was cheaper, younger and fit the offense better.
