I disagree, they are primed for a run with Wilson who I think is the 2nd best QB in football

Re: Offseason: Around the NFL

So the Giants released their kicker for a drunk-driving hit-and-run without a valid driver's license and fleeing police. The right move.

Why haven't they released DAndre Baker for his armed robbery of thousands ($12K) of dollars and watches at gunpoint, and sloppy attempt to cover it up (with Dunbar)? In fact, they're letting him report to the team!

Doubles standards. Are they more lenient with 1st-Round CBs than a kicker? Are there other reasons?

Former Washington defensive tackle Dana Stubblefield was found guilty of raping a woman while using a gun, a Santa Jose court ruled on Monday.

The trial, which was held at the Hall of Justice in San Jose, concluded Monday. Stubblefield was found guilty of rape by force, menace or fear and guilty of using a firearm in commission of the crime.

As a result of the verdict, Stubblefield now faces 15 years to life in prison.

The incident occurred in April of 2016 when Stubblefield was supposedly interviewing a disabled woman to be the potential babysitter for his kids.

Stubblefield, 49, was a first-round pick of the San Francisco 49ers in the 1993 NFL Draft. During his first five years with San Francisco, Stubblefield was named to the Pro Bowl three times, was a one-time first team All-Pro and also made the second team another year.

The defensive tackle signed a lucrative deal with Washington in free agency in 1998, but his numbers significantly declined once arriving in the nation's capital. Stubblefield played three seasons for Washington before returning to San Francisco in 2000.

Let me save everybody some time. The answer is yes. If it were the Redskins, we'd be doing the same thing.

Of course the media lists him as a Redskin first despite spending most of his career in SF.

I've noticed this with a few felons...if they spend a single year with us, the media shows them in a Redskin uniform or lists that first.

Baushaud Breeland was arrested earlier this year. Of course, they didn't say "Chiefs player", it was "former Redskin" in the headline.

dude, both of the articles are from local Washington DC media regarding former players.

Dana article is from nbc sports Washington. Breeland article is from the 'redskins wire" but does use a photo of him in a chiefs uni. It makes sense for the local redskins media to include the players tie to the redskins.

Did you notice the link you posted for Rambo is from a local georgia news outlet and its headline has him as a former Univ of Georgia player and not a skins player? Its bc his tie to the local georgia news media is bc he is a former UGA ... they highlight the local tie

^^ this is a national news media coverage .. has SF in the headline and lead line

chill .. not everything is some highly orchestrated conspiracy against the skins

Re: Offseason: Around the NFL

It's always amazed me how many former kickers we have spread across the league.

Gano, Forbath, Novak, Hall, Suisham, Rose, Cundiff.

Looks like we found a keeper with Hopkins...saw him hit a game-winner in person last season and he's now 3rd in FGM in Redskins history only behind Moseley and Lohmiller.

Re: Offseason: Around the NFL

Hopkins is pretty solid.

Just waiting to see someone suggest we should dump him for Gano.
