The expectation of league insiders is that in 2 years or so Snyder will revert to his mean (standard or typical) behavior. People thinking of coming here get on the phone with Shannys, Gruden, Williams, etc., and hear the real story of what actually goes on here. The basic approach of the best players is, why chance it? I can go to a team without a turd owner, why take the chance that Redskins remain what they have always been under Snyder, and be stuck there 4 years+? There are at least a dozen well-run teams in league with NONE of the myriad dysfunction has plagued Skins every level, they are much sounder choices than us. I wish that weren't the reality, but it is. We are at least one more year, maybe 2, from being free and clear of the bad decisions of past regimes, especially the horrible Smith contract and dead money thereof. Maybe the league strips Skins of draft picks after Snyder investigation? Etc.

This is a mediocre team at best but since they made the playoff everyone seems to forget that this team really wasn't very good. I know its early for 2021 predictions but if this team gets to 7-9 it will be another "successful" season.
