He did what he had to and bulked up for his new position. Doesn't mean he is second coming of Tony Gonzalez, but is what you expect from high character guy like him. Keep in mind he is also a QB in a pinch, meaning you could keep 2 QBs if you dress him. I would not be surprised at all if he makes roster as #3 or #4 TE with intended use in some gimmick play packages where he throws. I think Meyer is only keeping him if he is truly one of top 53 players.

Tebow's natural position based on body type is not a traditional TE, but an H-back like Gibbs used frequently.
