There is no way it is orchestrated. You can just look at other winners and losers. I mean Dallas is Americas team - biggest market there is. They have been mediocre at best for as long as we have really.

Even if there is orchestration within it is impossible to make it play out that way.

I think the refs just suck, because they are basically part time employees. But they suck the same across the board. If i ever found out the league was somehow instructing refs to steer games id never watch another one.

Maybe im naïve but it just seems too far fetched. What is in it for the refs? Are they fired if they don’t? Are they having money wired to a secret bank account?

I can see Goodell or others rooting for big market teams obviously but to intentionally screw with the integrity of the game by instructing and or rewarding officials somehow? I don’t buy it.

I agree with you, particularly that the refs are just inept. My point was simply that the NFL's interest would be to have division races that are heating up in December, not ones that are settling down.

Oh without a doubt they want that, but not by the officials giving anyone calls to secure such things. Not imo.
