court appearances and sentences are public record. I don't think murderers are generally allowed to have their records sealed.


I'm just saying without some kind of proof or cited sources, we should try to avoid saying silly things and then doubling down and changing the subject.

The sheriffs that rail against cashless bail in public go to congressional hearings and say it's not a big deal and does not increase crime rates in any meaningful way. So if you're getting different information that is actually factual (not anecdotal/political misinformation), I'd like to know so I can take a look at it.
