He turned down a 12 mill per during the season

4 years 62-70 million. Giants eating up that cap

There is no way in this day and age I want to give 10 mill plus per RB

Rarely do teams get bang for their buck on a RB's second contract.

I'd definitely let him walk.

You know it really sucks for RBs...you could argue their job is one of the hardest with the hits they take, and their shelf life is one of the smallest because of said hits. And there are some that are clearly better than most, but yet...that shelf life is still the same.

I think he'll stay a Giant but there is a business side of things for sure. If he walks I can understand it .

there should be a hazard pay bonus and/or RBs picked in the first round should have a modified rookie contract; at best you are getting 5 good years out of a back
