Re: Sweat to the bears for a 2nd rounder
You know Young will live up to his status now in SF with better coaching. What a stupid fucking trade, he’s having an awesome year and gave away for nothing.

Re: Sweat to the bears for a 2nd rounder
I preferred to keep Young, but understood the Sweat move. The ownership has my trust for now as I do like they're getting an early jump on the off-season per se'.

This is all on ownership, but we need to rebuild.

Re: Sweat to the bears for a 2nd rounder
Rebuild my ass!! All we needed was 2 OT, MLB and better coaching. To give away two of the best DE’s is fucking stupid.

Be ready to say bye to Howell as well, since this to me smells like loading on picks to go up for a QB move. This team has never, ever, ever, done a clean out like this before. But this needs to happen. This is why I was rooting for this front office/coaching staff to succeed, but alas, they f*cked it up.

But I find it hard to see a situation where the team keeps losing and everyone is fired, but somehow a new coaching staff/front office regime is going to bet on Howell? I'm not saying he's going to be cut or anything like that, but so far my early overreaction is that the ownership is setting up the next front office with enough pick to trade up for a QB.

I cannot imagine that some of our core players -- Allen, Payne, McLaurin -- are particularly happy right now. Going full rebuild, assuming it takes a few years, means that they've squandered a lot of their careers playing for the fuckwads running this team. I am so tired of having so little to root for with this team come November. I know, I know -- the stench of Snyder runs deep, RR was the best we could get and he's not a good coach (your record says what you are), etc. But fuck, man -- it is a soul-sucking experience to root for this team (or at least, it has been for the last 25 years; my first 25 years rooting for this team were pretty fun). Is fucking Alice in Wonderland -- jam yesterday and jam tomorrow but never, ever jam today.
