So with the kind of melt down of the Lions in the second half does it change anyone's opinion on Ben Johnson?

It’s not Johnson’s fault Campbell gambled twice, Reynolds dropped 2 balls and Goff noodle arm pass to St. Brown. Johnson’s offense moved the ball and gave them chances, this is coming from a MacDonald supporter.

Or that Gibbs fumbled. He had that D on their knees. If Campbell kicks fg’s from what the 28 and 30 something they are SB bound.

The 49ers seeing something many of us fans saw his entire time here. Mediocrity.

The #49ers will consider benching DE Chase Young for their Super Bowl matchup vs the #Chiefs

Young has made a habit of taking several plays off and the 49ers have started to view him as a liability.

It's clear that Johnson can call a great offense. Give him the players to run what he wants to run and I think it will be uber successful. The jury is still out as to whether or not he can lead. Can he be the leader Adam Peters said they were looking for - without regard to offense or defense...?

I think we are likely to find out.
