Re: Spain Week versus the Dolphins
Didn't even bother watching. I have 500 different streaming options, but still don't have NFL Network. Was not signing up or going out to watch these bums.
We fucking suck at everything.

Re: Spain Week versus the Dolphins
Definitely a mixed bag but overall I think a step forward on defense with DQ play calling. There still were some wide open WRs on incredibly blown coverage, and the game should've never have gotten to OT because Mikey should've had that int but they finally forced a few punts. Most notably. Dolphins were a perfect 13/13 in goal to go situations and this defense held firm on not one but two times.

Matt Gay released. Had to happen. He’s just been unreliable.

Re: Spain Week versus the Dolphins
Peters CLEARLY mis-read the room following last season. He has put together a total failure of a team for 2025.
We have Top 5 cap space, and can move up on this list with some cuts. Also are likely going to have a Top 5 pick to get a stud or get an overhaul of picks. Huge offseason for Peters following the 2026 Super Bowl.

I agree, I think a new d coordinator with assistants should be able to flip that side of the roster fairly quickly. Wagner, Von Miller, Payne, Lattimore, hopefully Quan Martin as well, will all be gone opening up a lot of cap space.

Re: Spain Week versus the Dolphins
One thing maybe lost in the mire of a losing streak is the OL is solidifying. Conerly and Paul have had a good stretch, Cosmi and Tunsil are pretty much locks and Biadasz isn't really a weak link, but an upgrade wouldn't go amiss. There's some depth pieces too. At least going into next season we shouldn't have to worry about the OL and QB. Lets see how we look post bye, and maybe see Whitt out of the door this week.

Remember 23'? when we were 4-12. That's the team that was inherited by the ownership. Last year was the perfect mix of some great plays in close games, and a team that felt change at the top. They overacheived. And while it was fun, it wasn't the be all end all of a team that needs a total rebuild. DQ will get more than 2 or 3 seasons to right the ship. Esp after taking us to the Championship game in his first season of a total rebuild. It's crazy to me how people HATED the way Snyder meddled in the team, yet want us to go back to exactly how he ran things. This wasn't an 87' corvette that just needed a coat of paint. This was a ford focus that needed an engine. And while, yes, we are very bad this year...I think that how good this team is truly lies in the middle of last year and this. Both are anomalies. Injuries for the latter, and overacheiving for the former. Whitt needs to go, though. I think everyone on here can agree on that.

Re: Spain Week versus the Dolphins
This team is old and slow. We also have no breakout players on either side of ball. As much as Terry had been good before this year; Terry has never been as impactful as the top wrs are. He’d be a solid #2 on most teams. On defense there’s such player either at any position.
If we to contend, we need such players. Heading into year 3; you should the core built. We don’t and need another massive overhaul. Also, some of those 24 draft picks might end up being busts. |

For a minute on Sunday I started to daydream about winning that game and getting some guys back after the bye and maybe making a run towards .500 lol
